It is reported that the solar industry has lost over 17,000 jobs since the government slashed support. This is a shameful statistic.
No doubt there would have been casualties come what may - that is the nature of emerging businesses - but to wilfully slash a sector that was clearly delivering on the green agenda is nothing short of reprehensible.
