I despair! This is the latest from my MP, who did at least have the decency to put her own pen to paper. I am yet to compose my response. Make of this what you will!!
Jottings from SW Surrey. This used to be mainly about energy but now I've retired it's just an old man's rant. From 23 June 2016 'til 12 December 2019 Brexit dominated but that is now a lost cause. So, I will continue to point out the stupidities of government when I'm so minded; but you may also find the odd post on climate change, on popular science or on genealogy - particularly my own family.

Brexit and my MP - A Diversion
In Part 3 of this series I posted the contents of one of the letters I have sent to my MP. I also sent a slightly amended version to the PM. As one would expect I did not receive a reply from the PM. Actually I didn't receive any reply from anyone at No. 10. What I did receive was the guff you see below.
I feel as though I should be standing to attention, clicking my heels and raising my arm in salute.

More on Coffee Cups
Continuing my occasional series on recycling coffee cups interesting to see that Costa's scheme is going nationwide. Also of interest is the move to collect the cups back-of-house to minimise contamination.

Brexit and my MP - Part 6
Just sent:
Dear Anne
It will come as no surprise to you that I was deeply disappointed in the
outcome of the second reading of the EU (Notice of Withdrawal) Bill yesterday.
May I urge you to carefully read the recent article by Prof A C Grayling in the
following link
Further, in the forthcoming debates on the Bill please remember the
wishes of your constituents and the fact that 63% of those eligible to vote did
not vote "Leave" in the 23 June 2016 Advisory referendum.
Yours sincerely
Richard Bawden
